M4A is hosting a very important training conference specifically for law enforcement and first responders entitled “Aging: Responding to the Call”. The training conference is being organized by M4A, Central Alabama Aging Consortium (CAAC) the Alabama Securities Commission (ASC), Alabama Coalition Against Domestic Violence (ACADV) and Project Lifesaver. The conference is designed to equip police officers, firefighters, EMT, social workers, and other personnel to better respond to the aging population and gain knowledge on the following topics:
Identifying, Investigating and Prosecuting Financial Crimes
Identifying and Responding to Abuse and Domestic Violence in Later Life
Recognizing and Responding to Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia and Project Lifesaver
